Last week was spring break 🙂
I left Thursday night before break started for Boise to meet up with my brother and his family, Friday afternoon we were off for Grand Targhee WY. Saturday we went skiing and I entered a Skier-X competition, and ended up winning my division (21+) My prize? A day of guided catskiing next winter!
Sunday we went skiing again, mostly with their kids, but made a few runs to the top as well. It was very sunny both days, and I never bothered to even think of sunscreen, and I got burnt bad.. most of my face under the goggle line peeled off the next few days, but we managed to get some good skiing in at Bogus Basin on Tuesday and Saturday, I also made a solo trip on Friday.
All in all I think I counted 16 days of skiing this winter, at 6 different ski areas in 4 states. Not too shabby considering my season pass was in a diffeent state, and I’m a college student without a lot of money.
