Well I’ve been asked about this May 1st reboot thing quite a bit. I sounded like an interesting contest. So I made a new layout. I finally got myself to try some semi-serious work in GIMP in X11, and I’m mostly happy with how it turned out.
Keeping several of the colors from my previous design, but my CSS file was started from scratch. As far as content goes, most of it should be able to simply be included in this here “template” thingy. Only problem at this point being I’ve been up for almost 30 hours now with about 3 hours of sleep.
Needless to say this will be a work in progress for some days, but you can get a pretty good idea of what I’m trying to go for here. I haven’t decided if I’ll try to make custom thumbnails for every entry, or do the category thing again.. I almost love what’s going on in the date bar.. Any suggestions, let me know.
