Well I guess the first post with this installation. I had a transfer of DNS which locked me out before. Not fun. My *first* first post involved a short rant about getting MySQL going, and my impressions of how easy to install WordPress is.
I’ll continue by still saying WP is quite easy to install and get going, but the documentation is rubbish compared to MovableType. The open source-ness of it is good, and as you can tell, I’ve dived into the templates. Hopefully things will be smooth sailing from here and I can get my domain transferred over this week!

Don’t take it personally, Alphax. In an effort to make sure no content on my site violates any laws or some such in any way/shape/form for even a short ammount of time, I’ve currently opted to moderate all comments before they are displayed publically.
This is to say that when you post a comment, I am alerted (quietly), and at my convenience, I can approve or deny any messages I choose. In good faith, any message that is not inappropriate will be approved, as soon as possible.
