Home but busy.

w00t! Vacation was great, but working is important for survival. I arrived in Eugene Thursday afternoon after a FIFTY-FOUR HOUR bus ride. Friday I worked most of all day, with a couple hour break to get lunch and pay rent, etc., followed by an OMGWTFBBQ at David’s. BBQ was great, met so many people who were v.fun to be around, I just hope I didn’t make an ass out of myself so I get invited back sometime in the not-too-distant future. Lots of beer got drank and lots of people got drunk. Good times 😉

Saturday I woke up on their couch, slightly hungover, but in rather good shape I thought. Had an omlet handed to me while Sarah was showing me the Salad Fingers series (watch them in order, they are progressively more disturbing). Then I stopped at Albertsons to get another pack of beer to bring to Fall Creek for a work ppl outing. Mmm geeks in swimsuits :-/ Anyhow, some beers and some swimming later, it was back to Eugene for dinner. We went to Sushi Domo, and I had my first sushi evar. I was adventurous and ordered basically a miscellaneous plate. It was quite the experience, it was rather decent, but I won’t be eating it all that often. Perhaps it gets better each time you have it. *shrug* who knows?

Sunday I got up at 7am to go help remove weeds from the waterski pond at 8am. Working in the sun on the water all day, got a ski run in at the end (made 3 of 4 passes at 32mph). Left there around 5pm. Now I’m all burnt and stuff, but I’m ok. Get to do it all over again next weekend, yay!

Aaaand I worked 8 hours today. With only 1 15min break for f00dstuffs. Mmm bbqchicken sammich from SubShop!

All this, and I still haven’t gone grocery shopping since getting back to town. I can’t tell if this is good or bad, but I don’t think it’s good, because I haven’t been eating much. Anywho, until next time…
