Yesterday:
I woke up an hour and a half late, missing my first class. When I got to my truck to try to make it to my other one, the [DieHard] battery was stone-dead. So I called AAA to get a jump start, and Ray’s towing made it out about 1:30. I drove to Sears to get the battery tested, and both the battery and the alternator tested OKAY. This is frustrating because I have little faith in the battery now.
A little while after I got home, my sister-in-law called me. My grandma had a fall and was rushed to the hospital. Last night she called again, and my grandma made it out of surgery for a subdural hematoma, but is still unresponsive. :'( It hurts so bad knowing she probably is suffering, and not being able to do anything except pray that she gets better soon.
Then, last night, something happened to my web host and my site was unavailable. Rather insignificant at this point, but nonetheless, all of this contributed to a very unfun day.
[EDIT/UPDATE (2005.11.13): Grandma is awake and breathing on her own a few hours a day at least, improving daily, things are surely looking up.]
Wow, that all really really sucks. I’m sorry to hear about your grandma. Get better grandma.
She made it out of surgery, and had a cat scan the next morning which came out positive for brain activity. Still unconsious due to sedatives, until she gets stronger. They think she will wake up this weekend.
