Movie Madness

Went to dinner at Erin’s parents again last night. Didn’t feel like going straight home, so we went to watch Pirates 2. Blast, another trilogy. I wish trilogies would go to hell. Anyhow, it wasn’t nearly as bad as any of the bad reviews said it was. Quite entertaining. I hope it’s still in the $1.50 theater when Pirates 3 comes out.

Saw a movie poster for the Transformers movie coming out next summer. I think the tagline is better suited for Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11, and agree with it in that context.
Their war. Our world.

Anyhow, next year looks to have a few good months worth of good movies. What with TMNT, Spiderman 3, Pirates 3, Transformers, (digging around IMDB a little), Fahrenheit 9/11 ½, Fraggle Rock: The Movie, Futurama, Mortal Kombat: Devastation, Ocean’s Thirteen, The Simpson’s Movie…. Along with movies I’m not entirely sure are worth the price of admission: Die Hard 4, Mrs Doubtfire 2, Rambo 4, Rush Hour 3, Sandlot 3, Three Stooges The Movie… Probably a few I missed here, and thousands of others I likely won’t care about.
