If I Only Applied Myself…
Well, it had to happen sooner or later. It’s now my FIFTH year of college, and I finally applied for a major. I’ve had my sights set on the Digital Arts Program here at the University of Oregon for the last few years, and the application deadline has eluded me for just that long as well. This year I got started about a month early putting my work into an InDesign project and turned in this masterpiece. Check it out, and wish me luck 🙂
In other news, I’ve been spending lots of my hours with Erin in the last few weeks. I <3 her. I even met her parents on Monday, they seem like really nice people. We’re planning on going on a short ski trip over Presidents Weekend to eastern Oregon. Yay skiing!
As I was Saying…
For some reason I have a good feeling about this 2006 thing…
Erin and I have been going out quite a bit lately. Tuesday after dinner, we went to see King Kong (trailer). The movie was better than I was expecting, or rather the special effects didn’t detract from the story as much as I was expecting. Thursday after dinner we went to a few bars, the first of which was NRQ’s “pray for snow” party at Taboo. I won a freaking snowboard by kicking some drunken ass in a silly pool game.
Then we went for some 80’s nite dancing and such.. Last night we watched Zorro.
