Life throws a curveball.

I’d like to offer an amazing amount of congratulations to my roommate who has gone an ENTIRE DAY without going to Corvallis. My roommate, senior editor for Life as News, went to Corvallis for the weekend, and went straight to work on Monday. I still can’t believe he resisted the urge for the entire duration of Tuesday to make the trek north. I guess I can’t be 100% certain he didn’t go, but I have some faith that he went to work instead. Trevor just left for Corvallis again tonight…

What’s the big attraction? Maybe someday I’ll go to investigate the draw, but it’s like my roommate has a tether that keeps pulling him back. I guess the real question is.. Do I want to know the reason?

Well now.

“Hi, my name is Louie Vidmar, and I’m a Junior at the University of Oregon.”
That just feels good to say for some reason. 🙂 Now that grades are in for Fall term, I finally have enough credits to be considered a junior! w00t for the 90.5 credits I’ve racked up over the last 4 years…

Now if I go saying I have a 3.15 GPA for the term, there’s going to be people saying “pssh! I’ve never had anything less than a 4.0!” and others moping about their lower grades. Well regardless of what others say, I’m quite proud of myself. This is not only the highest GPA I’ve had since having a GPA, but it also happens to be from a term containing the most credits I’ve ever taken at once. Cumulative GPA is creeping up as well, I guess my goal is to get that bumped up to at least 3.0 by the time I graduate.

I’ve also been putting some hours into a web design project I was hired for. Hopefully this will be done within a week or so and I can be giddy about adding stuff to my portfolio and résumé!

It’s also come to my attention that my site crashes IE on Windoze. I haven’t done anything knowingly fishy, and haven’t been able to narrow down the problem. If you happen to have any insights, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
